Lyne Masamitsu receives a Groundbreaker Award for her method of post-processing Poser hair rendered in Bryce. (November 30th '99)

Robert Buttery, could receive the award for many groundbreaking ideas he had. Anyway, the one which caught my eye first was his Verigo Method for creating kaleidoscopic abstracts with real depth. (November 30th '99)

Another Grandmaster of the Terrain Editor: Chris Casady a.k.a. Tile Nut wins the award for his grounbreaking ideas for modelling with Terrains. He made a trout which could probably wiggle it's tail in an animation!(November 30th '99)

A Work in Progress: Generic Human, an ambitious project, building a fully animatable figure entirely within Bryce. A link will be supplied when it suits Generic Human's creator. (August 18th '99)

Carlitos wins the Award for his unusual texturing of Poser figures, especially the "hair". (August 18th '99)

Don Tatro has set a new benchmark for using the Multireplicate function in Bryce and wins a Groundbreaker Award. (August 18th '99)

Use or abuse of perspective? Look at this example of work by Kim Gleghorn and judge for yourself. I think he does much of it with lighting. (July 28th '99)

A master at the subtle art of "finishing" a picture: C.W. Crisman uses incredible techniues which don't seem to be in any of the books. (July 28th '99)

For breaking the modelling limitations in Bryce, as shown in his picture of
a Dragon made in the Terrain Editor, a Groundbreaker Award goes to Fred Simmons. (July 18th '99)

All three artists above take a different approach to using or making terrains. This makes one wonder what gems there are hidden inside the program, waiting to be discovered and brought to light by inquisitive minds.
