It's a perpetual little Joke on the Bryce Forum. It is also my second response to a challenge posted by Mark Horvath: see what you can come up with in one hour.
I decided to fire up the original almost 6-years-old KPT Bryce (picture made 2nd of December 1999, Bryce's 6th birthday coming up on the 15th of December). Render time was almost one full minute! :)
I needed two renders to combine in Photoshop, and a mask for the UFO. The only light available in the original KPT Bryce is the sun, and I wanted a little extra modelling light on the UFO. Yes, that's the way we had to work it back in those days... and I guess rendering might have taken the best part of two hours.
While I was in Photoshop I also desaturated the colours a little. I sort of like the monochrome look.
