Mission Statement I Disclaimer I "Legal Stuff" I Kudos I Resources The
3D Kid's Project was founded on
July 6, 2000 by Bruno Smith, with help from Debbie Bishop and Gunther
Berkus. It began as a Co-op of 3D Artists creating 3D Computer Art just
for children. We wanted to illustrate some of the classic stories and
fairytales, we heard as children, into a 3D medium. This is a "Non-profit"
venture and is not subsidized by any organizations, fundings, persons,
or private companies (other than the parent company, Blind Dog 3D Productions).
None of the 3D Artists on this website have ever met in person! It was built entirely on-line using the Internet! We had a project board and a forum where we discussed ideas and images. Since that day the 3D Kid's Project has grown to over 175 Residents and has won several on-line awards. It is being used in schools around the globe to help kids understand Art and to preserve classic stories passed down through the ages. Mission Statement Our statement is simple, we provide "Edu-tainment" for kids with high quality 3D graphics, animation and interactive activities. We are Artists and parents that want to stimulate the imagination of young minds in a positive direction. We hope you enjoy our efforts as much as we enjoyed creating them just for you! Feel free to make any comments or suggestions on how we can make this site more enjoyable for the most precious resource on the planet, KIDS! Disclaimer There are a lot of wonderful, educational, and fun things to see on the Internet. There are also a lot of bad things to see! 3dkidscape.com provides a "safe" place for kids on the www. This site, does however, have a few images where the figures do not wear clothing. However, they are not "Erotica"! We have kept strict guidelines on what is O.K. for kids, but it is still up to each adult to be mindful of what little eyes see! If your child is of the age where you do not wish them to see these figures, please feel free to preveiw the galleries before they do. The staff here at Blind Dog 3D Productions believe we have shown "good taste" in the selections we have made and will continue to uphold these standards. We, as parents, would not publish anything our that own children could not enjoy! We are artists and are of the belief that the human body is a part of Art and always will be. These are 3D computer generated images and are not photograghs of "real" people! In today's world violence is as common place as the news, but a six year old still doesn't need it shoved down their throat! There are some "scary" images for those who enjoy them (who doesn't love a good "Ghost Story"?!), but gratuitous violence -for shock value- will never be an attraction here @ www.3dkidscape.com! Again, these are 3D and very realistic, but still only images and stories. Be sure the child understands this. Again, strict guidelines are adhered to in our selection process. Please be involved with your child's exploration of the Internet! Be sure to check bookmarks often and make sure that "Chat Rooms" they go to are supervised and monitored by adults. Be sure they know what information they are "NOT" to give out! Tell young ones to be sure to keep their name, address, phone number, e-mail address or any other personal information to themselves. This information is private and can be dangerous if used by the wrong people! Feel free to contact us for suggestions on how to make this a fun, safe, and happy experience for them. We are also open for any comment or suggestion on how we can better serve the needs of 3dkids and adults, alike.
